In several Minnesota families this Thanksgiving, an important food is about turkey, filling, cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes — or Venezuelan hallacas, Mexican mole, Indian breads pudding and Jamaican jerk-spiced chicken. Six Twin metropolitan areas cooks which hail from about earth reveal, in their own personal terminology, what exactly is to their Thanksgiving dining tables.
